Assembly Worker - Crane Experience Required 

Commerce, GA
? $18.25 per hour

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Currently (Peak Season): Mandatory overtime 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are currently seeking multiple experienced Assembly Workers to join our team in Commerce, GA. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Candidates must be reliable and willing to work mandatory overtime during peak production periods.

Required Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of assembly experience

  • Crane operation experience (required)

  • Hands-on experience using hand tools (required)

The ability to read and interpret blueprints is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and production requirements. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning assembly procedures and positioning parts based on unit knowledge or blueprint specifications

  • Cleaning and preparing metal components to ensure proper fit

  • Fastening parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, clips, and other hardware

  • Installing moving components and verifying proper operation

  • Installing piping or wiring as required

  • Aligning and integrating control valves into assembled systems

  • Testing or assisting in testing finished products to ensure quality standards are met

  • Packaging and labeling completed products according to customer requirements

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to read and understand written instructions

  • Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, and measurements

  • Solid problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
