Pay Rate: $25.65/hr

- Setting up and operating autoclaves to bond and cure metallic and non-metallic aircraft parts.
- Reading and interpreting documents related to the process.
- Selecting and arranging parts for autoclave processes.
- Connecting vacuum lines and thermocouples.
- Inputting data into the autoclave's computerized system and adjusting controls.
- Monitoring autoclave operations, gauges, and instruments for proper function.
- Handling tools, cleaning, storing them, and maintaining organization in the workspace.
- Ensuring proper documentation and part processing is completed.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of autoclave operational experience.
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of related operational systems.
- Valid driver's license (for GAC cart and forklift licenses).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and electric tow mules.
- Must possess or obtain a Q-Stamp for autoclave processes.
- Understanding of Gulfstream manufacturing procedures and autoclave run calculations (time, temperature, pressure).
- Experience with composite bonding.
- Forklift and power tool knowledge.
- Familiarity with ASC software or similar cure programs.
- Understanding of composite curing processes.
- Strong communication skills.
