Description

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for an Associate Project Manager at a Biotechnology company in Houston TX. The overall responsibility of the Associate Project Manager is to integrate the organization's cell therapy expertise with a GMP operational capability.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support GMP operational planning and execution for a portfolio of cell therapy programs
  • Develop and maintain batch production forecasts based on contractual obligations, resource allocations, and other constraints
  • Serve as the interface between the organization and biotech partners to provide visibility throughout manufacturing and plan final drug product for shipment and disposition
  • Responsible for the work-process by managing capacity by ensuring efficient resource utilization and coordinating scheduling across GMP operational functions
  • Develop insights on operational performance by maintaining production and resource tracking tools
  • Drive development and implementation of key systems designed to enable better planning, scheduling, and execution of GMP operations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a Life Science or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within the Biotech industry
  • Experience in cell therapy or biologics manufacturing
  • Experience with supply chain, scheduling, and budget planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with coordination and tracking of materials
  • Excellent communication skills are required to interface with external vendors and stakeholders
  • Ability to focus on strategic thinking and data-driven decision making
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
