Clinical Nurse Practitioner – Kelly Government Solutions (Part-Time, Research Setting)

Location: NIH Campus, Bethesda, MD
Schedule: 30–40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with rotational shifts
Telework: Eligible
Position Type: Part-Time Make a Difference in Mental Health Research Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced direct patient care and psychiatric/medical assessments for research subjects
  • Participate and collaborate on clinical advisory teams
  • Perform physical exams, order and review laboratory/diagnostic tests, and oversee patient clearance for research participation
  • Recruit and screen healthy volunteers and patients in accordance with research protocols and HIPAA standards
  • Mentor and assist with the training of junior clinical staff and research fellows
  • Assist with research procedures including supporting brain imaging studies and venous access
  • Consult with principal investigators, research coordinators, and referring clinicians
  • Participate in the development of educational and outreach materials
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current, active Nurse Practitioner license in any U.S. state or territory
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANPCB)
  • Two or more years of clinical experience as an NP, ideally including work with mental health, neuroscience, or complex patient populations
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to patient privacy and research standards
Preferred Expertise
  • Experience in clinical research, protocol-driven care, or academic healthcare
  • Background in psychiatric/neurological patient care
  • Experience with teaching, mentoring, or developing training materials
