Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$17.75/hour pay-rate + $5.36 H&W

What's a typical day as Claims Customer Service Advocate I? You'll be:
- Responding to routine inquiries via written and telephone communications, ensuring compliance with contract standards and objectives for timeliness, productivity, and quality.
- Examining and processing claims and non-medical appeals according to business regulations and internal standards, while accurately documenting inquiries.
- Identifying complex complaints and inquiries that require escalation to a lead or manager for resolution, and reporting suspected fraudulent activities to the appropriate departments.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of experience in claims/appeals processing, customer service, or a related support area; or possess a Bachelor's Degree in lieu of work experience.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent customer service abilities.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office and have basic business math skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
