Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Farmersville, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $20.00+ per hour (based on experience)
Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Fridays and Saturdays as required by workload will be considered overtime)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery used in the milling of wood parts for custom retail store fixtures. Your expertise will contribute to producing high-quality products that meet our clients' specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently to mill wood parts for custom retail fixtures.
- Understand and follow all parts of a work order packet, including drawings, cut lists, and bills of material.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure the correct colors, materials, and dimensions are used.
- Set up the machine for daily operations and perform any necessary operator maintenance.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established processes and guidelines.
- Exhibit a solid work ethic and self-motivation while demonstrating quality workmanship at a pace consistent with co-workers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- General understanding of the woodworking industry.
- Ability to work safely with moderate supervision.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and understanding operational requirements.
- Strong skills in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
