Kelly Government Solutions is currently recruiting Composite Technicians to join our team.  This role is ideal for a hands-on person with great attention to detail, a focus on quality, and excellent people skills. 

Job Functions:

• Fabricate composite parts, including bonding prep, tool prep, ply kit generation, lamination, vacuum bagging, de-molding, trimming, and part handling.
• Handle perishable materials, paying close attention to expiration dates, out time life, and traceability information.
• Follow all planning, visual aids, and process work instructions to fabricate composite parts and bonded assemblies.
• Operate handheld tools such as scissors, razor knives, grinders, drills, sanders, and cutting wheels.
• Thrive in a team environment, support other departments, or complete other duties as necessary.
• Work in both FOE critical and FOE sensitive environments while observing all related safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible/changing schedules, including weekends.
• Ability to work in El Segundo, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Composite fabrication experience in aerospace, military, manufacturing, and/or maintenance environments.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and the ability to work under limited supervision.
• Experience operating autoclave and curing ovens.
