We're seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Personal Lines Customer Service Agent. In this role, you'll provide support to our customers with their personal insurance needs including auto, home, and umbrella policies. No prior insurance experience or licensing is required.
Title – Customer Service Agent
Location – Whitehall, NY
Pay Rate – $17-25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages from customers.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable responses to inquiries.
- Assist customers with policy changes, additions, cancellations, and renewals.
- Help ensure accuracy in policy data and documentation.
- Guide customers through the claims process, helping them gather required details.
- Provide updates and support throughout claim resolution.
- Address billing inquiries and payment issues.
- Assist customers with making payments or setting up payment arrangements.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns or complaints.
- Accurately log and maintain records of all customer communications and policy updates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
- A positive, customer-first attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
