Customer Service Representative in Printing
Seattle, WA
$20-$22/hr
8:00am-5:00pm M-F
Temp-to-hire after 3-6 months


Job Summary:
Join our Seattle Print Shop team as a Customer Service Representative. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a print environment and enjoys building strong client relationships. 

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: temp-to-hire
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Pay Rate: $20 - $22 Hourly
- Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm M-F


Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greet clients in a friendly manner as they enter the facility.
- Process work orders received through various channels, including in-person, phone, email, electronic, and hard copy.
- Provide recommendations on paper, binding, and finishing options to meet customer needs.
- Assist with quoting and billing print projects using MFG software.
- Communicate with clients via email or phone to address any questions or concerns about their orders.
- Assist clients in proof review and approval process.
- Inform customers about unit prices, shipping/delivery dates, and any delays.
- Follow up with clients to keep them informed about the status of their projects.
- Direct inquiries about jobs in progress to the appropriate production manager or associate.
- Coordinate will-call or delivery times to align with production schedules.
- Collaborate with drivers and courier services to schedule deliveries.
- Pack and ship finished orders using FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
- Maintain office supplies and packaging inventory.
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or merchandise to clients.
- Participate in training modules to enhance customer service skills, technical knowledge, and print expertise.
- Perform additional tasks, duties, or functions as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to promote the products and services of the company effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of materials and equipment used in the duplicating/print process.
- Previous experience in a printing, finishing, or customer service position.
- Familiarity with the printing industry, including color, signage, bindery, and finishing (a plus).
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills in a fast-paced, on-demand environment.
- Strong multitasking abilities while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Attention to detail, color perception, and a positive attitude.
