De-Burr Associate
Grand Rapids, MI
$18+/hour ($2 shit differential for 3rd shift)

Details:

• 1st Shift: 6 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday
• 3rd Shift: 7:30 PM – 5 AM, Monday to Thursday
• Training: Train on first shift, move to 2nd shift by or before 90 days

Kelly Services, in partnership with a continually growing client, is seeking a De-Burr Associate.This position includes the accurate and timely cleaning and de-burring of parts according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• De-bur the required number of components correctly, and in a timely manner according to process documentation.
• Perform visual inspection according to process documentation and AS 9100 standards.
• Mark parts appropriately with the right tools.
• Clean parts.
• Perform data collection and communication tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years successful prior essential duty experience.
• Proven ability to recognize and remove burrs in metal. Prior detailed manufacturing work utilizing a microscope, hand tools or other micro-manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Lift, push and/or pull 10 pounds.
• Sit at least 80% of the scheduled shift.
• Routinely perform tedious operations requiring hand and finger dexterity.
