Description

Are you passionate about innovative electrical engineering and ready to work alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop the next generation of cryogenic vacuum pumps and chillers? We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Electrical Engineer to join our cross-functional group of electrical, software, and mechanical engineers.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the design and development of new products and enhance existing products, focusing on cost optimization, improved manufacturability, and warranty performance.
  • Develop electrical specifications and design schematics for cryogenic systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Select and specify commercial ("off the shelf") electronic boards, components, and subsystems to integrate into overall product designs.
  • Lead and participate in schematic reviews, layout evaluations, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
  • Work alongside technicians and lab engineers to execute design verification testing.
  • Take part in system qualification testing with both internal teams and external agencies to confirm regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and review of reliability, HALT/HASS, and production test plans.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout development and the transition to manufacturing, including schematics, diagrams, BOMs, and test procedures.
