Executive Assistant to CEO – Temporary Role (Up to 8 Weeks)
Location: Rochester, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $30 - $33 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
This is a temporary role expected to last up to 8 weeks. Candidates who demonstrate strong skills, reliability, and a great fit with the company culture may be considered for other temp-to-hire opportunities within the organization following the completion of this assignment.

About the Role:
We're seeking a confident and highly organized Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a growing technology company. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional comfortable managing a demanding schedule, handling gatekeeping duties, and anticipating the CEO's needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the CEO's gatekeeper, managing access and scheduling to maximize productivity
  • Maintain and coordinate a complex calendar of meetings, ensuring punctuality and follow-ups
  • Take detailed notes during meetings, prepare talking points, and distribute action items promptly
  • Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations and basic reporting for leadership meetings
  • Track and compile project-based reports and statistics using Excel and other tools
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, adapting to changing demands and deadlines
  • Navigate the CEO's communication style with tact and professionalism
  • Perform occasional light walking and movement throughout the building


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role supporting C-suite executives
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and with discretion
  • Comfortable multitasking and anticipating executive needs proactively
  • Thick skin and ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
