What's a typical day as a Extrusion Press Operator? You'll be:
- Safely operating and monitoring an extrusion press while setting new run practices and ensuring quality control according to ISO standards.
- Performing visual inspections of metal for defects and executing etch testing efficiently.
- Coordinating the flow of information through extrusion functions using the Epics system and communicating with supervisors and team members regarding order completion and operational issues.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Are self-motivated with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand measuring tolerances.
- Have successfully completed Lock Out Tag Out and Hazardous Material Communication Training Programs per OSHA regulations.
