Extrusion/Press Operator
 
To safely operate and monitor an extrusion press, set new run practices, and ensure the quality of extrusion meets ISO standards.

Location: Franklin, NH
 
Work Schedule:

• 4x10 (Monday to Thursday)
  • 1st Shift: 5am - 3pm | $18/hr
  • 2nd Shift: 3pm - 1am | $19.80/hr

 
Key Accountabilities:

• Proficiently use overhead cranes for moving racks, scrap, or finished bundles.
• Conduct visual inspection of metal for defects.
• Coordinate the flow of information using the Epics system and communicate with supervisors, operators, and maintenance teams.
• Perform etch testing safely and efficiently.
• Manage the press and saw information system to verify alloy, temper information, cut length, and handling requirements.
• Transport logs, billets, dies, and perform setup functions for extrusion presses as per schedule.

 
Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding measuring tolerances.
• Self-motivated with adaptability for change.
