Kelly, in partnership with a brand new and growing manufacturer, is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Skokie, IL. 

This is a direct hire positions, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:
Shift openings:
1st: start between 6 am and 8 am and work until 3 pm and 5 pm
Pay: $30 - $35 per hour, based on experience

Job description:

• Work safely and follow all establish practices and requirements
• Maintain safe work environment when preforming tasks
• Ability to obtain needed license to operate forklift and lift equipment
• Performs routine preventative maintenance operations such as maintaining an accurate TPM record, lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc on both facility and some manufacturing equipment
• Uses standard hand and power tools
• Assists in the movement of equipment and furniture as needed
• Have experience and ability to do basic carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing as needed to maintain facility. 
• Have experience with facility upkeep and repairs such as painting, tiling and related work
• Determine and recommend external vendors soliciting quotes as needed
• Participates in team meetings as required (safety, problem-solving, etc.)
• Implements the Quality Policy and Procedures in all aspects of daily duties and responsibilities.
• Reviews service requests for repairs and maintenance determines nature of problem and recommends appropriate solution.
• Understand and perform to all quality regulations, standards and policies, including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003. Follow work procedures and ensure highest level of quality.

Requirements:

1. High school education or GED required
2. 5+ years of experience completing facilities maintenance
3. 2+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance
