Location: Ware, MA 01082
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19/hour

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and accurate handling, shipping, receiving, and storage of packaged products. This includes operating a sit-down propane forklift and supporting general warehouse operations. Responsibilities
General Operations

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Follow all work instructions and complete paperwork accurately
• Inspect products for damage and report any non-conformances
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and dock areas
• Take product samples as required and report any contamination
• Communicate issues clearly to management
• Enter data accurately into the VMU system
• Support other warehouse duties as needed

Safety

• Always follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or injuries immediately
• Comply with all workplace safety policies

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience
• At least 6 consecutive months of daily forklift use
• Certified forklift license preferred
• Valid state driver's license
• Must pass a drug test and background check
• No felony convictions within the past 7 years
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift as required
• Frequent use of hands for data entry and equipment operation
• Must have clear close-range vision

This is a full-time, hourly position. Duties may evolve based on operational needs.
