Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for contract-to-hire (temp-to-permanent, ~6 month conversion) position with a biotechnology company in St. Louis, MO. Position Overview:
The QC Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the company's diagnostic laboratory operations. This position supports laboratory excellence by overseeing critical materials, monitoring environmental conditions, and ensuring adherence to ISO13485, CLIA, and internal quality standards. The QC Specialist will work cross-functionally with teams to maintain a commitment to precision, reliability, and positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Material & Reagent Management:
- Quarantine and release incoming and in-house critical materials, ensuring they meet established quality standards.
- Manage reagent and consumable inventory levels, placing orders to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 1-4+ years of laboratory or QC experience in a regulated environment, ideally under ISO13485 and CLIA standards.
- Proficiency in laboratory operations, including equipment monitoring and reagent management.
- Experience with LCMS analysis.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with LIMS is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in diagnostic laboratories or biotech environments.
- Familiarity with validation processes for laboratory instruments and software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
