HRIS Data Specialist
Location: Bloomington, IN – Fully Remote
Pay Rate: $25-35/hour
Contract Type: Temporary

Position Overview: Kelly Services is proud to partner with a top-tier company seeking a HRIS Data Specialist to join their team. The Data Specialist will be responsible for handling a significant amount of manual data entry, ensuring all daily requests are completed accurately and on time. Additionally, this person will run reports, audit data, and support the team in maintaining data accuracy across all systems. Apply now for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manage all new hire data entry for employees and contractors across HRIS platforms, including Dayforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Triage, review, and process HRIS change requests, ensuring requests are complete and compliant with established protocols.
  • Enter, audit, and maintain employee data in HRIS, adhering to strict accuracy and confidentiality standards.
  • Proactively update SOPs and documentation for data entry requirements as HR systems or business processes evolve.
  • Act as first-line support for data integration issues  - identify, research, and resolve discrepancies between systems (e.g., Dayforce, D365), escalating to IT as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure all data changes impacting pay or deductions are accurately reflected across relevant systems before each payroll cycle.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience with HR data entry is required.
  • Experience with Dayforce is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with D365 is a plus.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Proven ability to follow processes while proactively seeking clarification when requirements are unclear.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and appreciation for the importance of data accuracy in HR, payroll, and compliance.
  • Comfort collaborating with IT and cross-functional teams to resolve data integration or troubleshooting issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and contribute to process improvement.
