Human Resources Information Management (HRIM) Supervisor
Contract Role | 12–18 Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $36–$48/hour
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days remote after training and demonstrated proficiency)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly analytical Human Resources Information Management (HRIM) Supervisor to support a major HR systems upgrade involving PeopleSoft (PSHR) and Workday. This role will play a critical part in stabilizing HR data operations, addressing system unknowns, and ensuring data integrity throughout the transition.
This is a 12-month contract role with a potential 6-month extension based on performance and project needs. The position reports directly to CHRO and includes direct supervision of two Data Specialists and one temporary employee.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the HR Data Center and serve as the primary point of contact for PSHR-related questions across campus
- Troubleshoot system issues across:
- HR
- Payroll
- Benefits
- Student Employment
- Graduate Studies
Escalate issues to IST as appropriate
- Assist with required PeopleSoft testing, including tax updates and system fixes
- Manage PSHR organizational hierarchy, first-line security approvals, and other system components impacting Payroll and Benefits
- Handle public records requests and internal ad hoc reporting
- Support Workday data verification, cleanup, and internal documentation updates
- Much of this work will focus on resolvingcurrent unknowns related to Workday functionality
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other departments to communicate updates, resolve data issues, and improve processes
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance during system transition
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and workload management for the HR data team
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with PeopleSoft HR (PSHR) or another Oracle HCM product
- Strong SQL skills
- Advanced data analytics capability with an analytical, problem-solving mindset
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Management or supervisory experience
- Experience in an education environment
- K–12 acceptable
- Higher education strongly preferred
- Experience working with unions
- Healthcare industry experience (considered highly transferable)
- Team: 2 Data Specialists + 1 temporary resource reporting into this role
- Schedule Flexibility:
- Start times available: 7:00am, to 9:00am
- Chosen schedule must remain consistent
- Hybrid Option: Eligible for 2 remote days per week once trained and performance expectations are met
- Client Systems: PeopleSoft and Workday
