Kelly Services is seeking an experienced HR Strategic Solutions Administrator for a 1-year+ contract opportunity supporting a Higher Education institution. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong systems expertise, strategic mindset, and experience driving operational excellence across HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting for PeopleAdmin and Vector Solutions platforms
  • Lead and support Workday-related data clean-up initiatives (key focus area)
  • Maintain HR systems outside of the ERP (ATS, performance management, background check platforms)
  • Support implementation of the HR strategic plan, including talent development, retention, and workforce planning
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations to ensure uninterrupted delivery of core services
  • Support employee and labor relations matters
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and team meetings to promote engagement and accountability
  • Launch and sustain leadership development programs, career pathways, performance management, and succession planning initiatives
  • Collaborate regularly with Academic Affairs, Finance & Budget, Legal, IT, and Union leadership
  • Track and analyze HR KPIs and metrics to drive continuous improvement
 
Required Competencies:
  • Strong people management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Data-informed decision-making using HR metrics and KPIs
  • Change management and process improvement expertise
  • Comprehensive knowledge across HR domains including HRIS, compensation, workforce planning, and employee relations
  • Experience supporting and maintaining HR technology platforms
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Higher Education experience
  • Direct employee relations experience
  • Experience supporting union environments
