Kelly Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician HVAC and Manufacturing Equipment for a local Jacksonville Manufacturer.
Pay- $25-$29/hour
Location- Jacksonville, FL 32216
Schedule- 6am- 230pm but must plan to stay until 4:30pm daily and Saturday when needed overtime is required.

Overview
This role ensures that production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The technician will work with a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and HVAC related manufacturing systems essential to our production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC manufacturing equipment, including coil winders, sheet metal fabrication machinery, roll forming stations, clinching presses, and automated assembly lines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Calibrate sensors, gauges, PLC controlled components, and instrumentation used in HVAC product testing.
• Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and support continuous production flow.
• Document repairs, complete work orders, and track parts usage in Crown Products Company's maintenance management system.
• Collaborate with management, production, and quality teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain an organized work area and ensure proper management of tools and spare parts.
Qualifications
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within HVAC or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automated control systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC principles, refrigerants, and related testing equipment is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and extended periods of standing.
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Valid driver's license

Work Environment
• May require overtime, shift work, or participation in an on call rotation based on production needs.
• Exposure to moving machinery, electrical systems, refrigerants, and industrial noise.
