Welder

Location: Upper Chichester, PA
Pay Rate: $26.00 – $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift Only)
Note: This role includes two weeks of paid training in Texas or Baton Rouge.

This is a small, ISO-certified manufacturing facility specializing in the production and repair of industrial valves. The site operates with fewer than 20 employees, offering a close-knit, team-oriented environment. Position Summary

The Welder is responsible for welding parts and components used in industrial valve manufacturing and repair. This role requires strong technical welding skills, particularly overlay hard face welding, and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications. You will collaborate closely with machinists, assemblers, and leadership to meet quality and production goals while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG, MIG, MAG, and stick welding

  • Overlay hard face welding (required)

  • Weld parts and components from blueprints and specifications

  • Repair raw and finished parts

  • Perform post-weld heat treatment

  • Set up and operate a conventional lathe for weld prep

  • Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

  • Collaborate with machinists and assemblers

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of welding experience (manufacturing or valve industry)

  • Overlay hard face welding experience required

  • Welder certification

  • Post-weld heat treatment experience

  • Ability to read technical drawings

  • Reliable attendance; able to work overtime/weekends if needed

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • HS Diploma or GED

Preferred
  • Valve repair and assembly experience

  • PT / MT certifications
