Job Summary:
As an Inventory Worker using the scanner at [Company], you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory counts and maintaining efficient store operations. Using the Zebra scanner, a user-friendly handheld device, you will scan barcoded stickers and merchandise throughout the store. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will contribute to the overall success of the inventory count.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: 1 day only   this SUNDAY  5/19/2024 
- Location: Rapid City
- Pay Rate: $25.00  
- Shift: 5PM to Midnight  

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Place colorful barcoded stickers, known as fixture stickers, throughout the store under the guidance of the Store Manager or count leader.
- Be assigned to a specific area of the store and ensure accurate scanning and counting of merchandise in that section.
- Enter your name in the scanner before beginning the count.
- Scan the fixture sticker for each fixture in your assigned section.
- Scan all items on the fixture, using the scanner's laser scanner or enter the quantity manually if applicable.
- End the sticker by scanning the fixture sticker again.
- Write your initials on the completed sticker to indicate it has been counted accurately.
- Follow productivity tips such as scanning 3-4 inches from the barcode, listening for beeps after each scan, and reviewing the scanner screen for warning beeps.
- Ensure the scanner is logged out and returned to the designated area when not in use.
- Leave personal belongings at home or in your car, except for essential items like a pen, small snack or sack lunch, and a drink.
- Seek guidance from your count leader or the Store Manager for any questions or concerns during the count.
- Record your time at the store on the provided sign-in sheet.

Qualifications & Skills:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld devices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to [weight limit].
