Full time opportunity near Bay City, MI for a JR Program Manager.
Associates and/or Bachelors degree required
$65,000 - $70,000k

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Manager Assistant to support our Program Management team in driving the execution of complex, cross-functional projects. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, supporting day-to-day coordination, tracking milestones, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth communication across all levels of management.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Program Managers in coordinating project activities, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Serve as communication linkage between engineering, operations, quality, finance, and other departments to track and report project status.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Help monitor task progress program health and progress.
  • Assist with risk tracking, mitigation planning, change mgmt., configuration management, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all levels of management, including executive updates.
  • Maintain program timelines and assist with resource planning.
  • Support the preparation of customer-facing deliverables, presentations, and reports.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Business Administration, Tech/Engineering, or related field preferred, but mandatory.
  • 2+ years of experience in a project or program coordination/support role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project (or similar tools).
  • Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Jira, iPCS, and/or MS Project) a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all organizational levels, including executives.
