Junior Accountant
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: $22 - $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Reports To: Controller/Finance Manager, Americas
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join an Aerospace Manufacturing Accounting team. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This position reports to the Americas Controller/Finance Manager and will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including vendor invoice management, reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting with audits.
Duties & Responsibilities- Record all vendor invoices accurately to the General Ledger.
- Post company credit card usage to appropriate accounts.
- Compile and post online billings in a timely manner to the General Ledger.
- Analyze vendor accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually to ensure payment accuracy and perform Statement Reconciliations.
- Collaborate with various departments to perform accounting audits and ensure compliance.
- Research and approve new vendors, and create new vendor accounts, including collection of W9 and ACH documents.
- Post journal entries as required.
- Assist with creating company profiles for vendors and customers while adhering to documentation policies.
- Track accounting email boxes and communicate any issues to the accounting team.
- Address Receipt/Purchase Order mismatches by communicating with the appropriate departments.
- Assist in preparing bank reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Fill in for other roles during vacations or as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or at least three years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of statement reconciliation processes.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain precise records of all vendor payments.
