Chemistry Lab Technician – Medical Device Industry (Contract, Onsite in St. Louis)

We're hiring a Chemistry Lab Technician for a 6+ month onsite contract in St. Louis, MO. This is your opportunity to step into a vital role, supporting the quality and safety of life-saving products through hands-on lab work and routine chemical testing.

What You'll Do:

  • Collect and test raw material, water, and product samples using written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Perform routine chemical analyses and document results accurately.
  • Identify sample or equipment issues and work with your supervisor to correct them.
  • Maintain ERP records to track materials' status (release, hold, or quarantine).
  • Help calibrate lab instruments and prepare standards for testing.
  • Ensure proper disposal of expired or unused materials.
  • Support overall lab operations based on your training and experience.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous lab experience or coursework in a chemistry-related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures.
  • Ability to recognize issues and take initiative on corrective actions.
  • Comfortable working in a GMP/regulated environment (a plus).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a bonus.
