Job Title: Loader
Location: North Little Rock, AR
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday from 6pm to completion
Pay rate: $19.00 p/h

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Loader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient loading of pre-assembled merchandise, pallets, and master containers for shipment, specifically for international export. Under general supervision, you will:

  • Accurately load customer pallets onto trucks following the provided loading map to ensure order and stability.
  • Prepare products for shipment, which includes weighing, handling, transporting, marking, addressing, and packing.
  • Load shipping containers according to mapping and special instructions, ensuring stability to avoid damage.
  • Wrap pallets using both machine and hand methods to maintain stability during transport.
  • Unload and clean shipping containers as necessary.
  • Operate stock trucks and mechanical jacks safely and consistently.
  • Hand load products onto shipping containers as required.
  • Verify that products are loaded correctly for export by cross-referencing with export documents.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

  1. Proficiency in operating ride-on pallet jacks.
  2. Experience in food distribution.
  3. Strong loading and unloading skills.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Additional pallet jack experience.
  2. Familiarity with warehouse loading processes.
  3. Previous experience in food distribution.

Soft Skills:

  • Willingness to accept and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required, with a preference for candidates from food distribution warehouses.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, onsite position at our warehouse dock in North Little Rock, AR.
  • Fast-paced work culture.
  • Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, from 6 PM until completion.

Additional Information:

  • Training provided for 1 week upon hire.
  • In-person interviews will be conducted by one interviewer.
  • Position is temporary with a contract length of 90 days, with potential for temp-to-hire.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.
