Job Title: Pick and Pack Worker (Presorter)

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Employment Type: Contractor (Hourly, Non-Exempt)
Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours: 40 hours per week (Overtime may be required) Job Description A dependable Pick and Pack Worker (Presorter) is needed for a production team in Maryland Heights, MO. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing metered mail by ensuring proper date, postage, and barcode quality before processing. Your attention to detail will help identify and correct errors, prevent jams, and support efficient mail flow in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare outgoing metered mail, confirming correct dates, adequate postage, and barcode quality prior to production.
  • Identify and communicate errors, including poor barcodes and other discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams from sorting machines as needed.
  • Adhere to safety and operational directions provided in English.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support team and business needs.
Requirements
  • Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts as required, sometimes with little to no notice.
  • Proven reliability and dependability; excellent attendance is a must.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend approximately 80% of the time with or without accommodation.
