This position is primarily responsible for performing a variety of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will work according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems to support the achievement of the company's business goals and objectives.
Location: Franklin, NH
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $24 and above, based on expereince, shift differential
Schedule:
1st Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday thru Friday
2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday thru Friday
3rd Shift: 11pm-7:00am, Monday thru Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
- Carry out simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills for troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report any unusual situations to supervision.
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Maintain and reinforce ISO standards and objectives.
- Be available to work extended hours when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Good Mechanical Aptitude
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to read equipment manuals to perform required maintenance.
- Strong understanding of machine tool geometry and usage with various materials.
- Machine troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Comfortable working at heights and from ladders.
- Basic understanding of ISO concepts.
