Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 4 months +          
Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
Pay: $30.00/hour
Shifts: 1st (6:00am – 2:30pm) AND 3rd shift (10:00pm – 6:30am)


Overview

  • Will assist in the processing of scintillator material (Load/unload furnaces, product formation and densification), Data Collection, Product Sampling, Analytical testing (Particle Size Analysis & ICP), and Chemical handling (Both liquid and solid).
  • Responsibilities will stretch beyond making daily output targets by being involved with trouble shooting and working with the engineering team

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor calcine furnace, disk mill, and compactor equipment in the powder processing room to produce high-quality CT subassembly materials.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards, including consistent use of PPE, maintaining clean/organized work areas, and reporting hazards promptly.
  • Follow GE HealthCare's Quality Management System and operational processes to deliver defect-free material, maintaining accurate and timely production and recordkeeping.
  • Achieve production delivery targets by monitoring daily output, escalating issues promptly, and ensuring products are delivered on time to support customer needs.
  • Minimize scrap and equipment downtime by following proper operating procedures, escalating process issues, and contributing to cost-efficient manufacturing.
  • Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement by treating colleagues fairly, suggesting process enhancements, and actively supporting a safe, positive work environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Will consider Associates degree (or local equivalent 2-year degree) OR a High School diploma (or local equivalent) and 2 or more years technical experience
  • Proficiency in understanding and interpret basic written technical information
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fields
  • Prior experience in Chemical manufacturing or clean room manufacturing

Additional Information
  • Onsite / Monday – Friday
  • 1st shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm (30 min meal break at 11:00am)
  • 3rd shift: 10:00pm – 6:30am (30 min meal break at 3:00am)
  • Contract slated through June 30, 2026. Possibility to extend into late summer/early fall if there is an increased demand
