Description

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to be a key part of a world-class production team? We're looking for a Material Coordinator to support operations at John Deere, one of the most trusted names in manufacturing.

 

  • Location: Waterloo, IA
  • Schedule: 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Overtime: 2 hours per shift
  • Work Days: Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays
  • Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
  • Assignment Length: 36 Months (W2 through KellyOCG)
  • Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
     
What you'll do:
  • Coordinate material flow to the production line
  • Trigger Kanbans and manage inventory movement
  • Use SAP and other systems to ensure material accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain)
  • Conduct real-time part counts and address material shortages
  • Support process improvement and change management initiative
     
What we're looking for:
  • Must-Haves:
  • SAP experience (preferred)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work on the production floor
  • Strong team player in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
     
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Inventory management experience
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
  • Experience performing audits or implementing process improvements
