Job Title: Material Handler – Day Shift
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Dress Code: Steel-toed boots required
Experience: Any warehouse or manufacturing experience is welcome; reliability and a strong work ethic are essential. Position Summary As a Material Handler on the day shift, you will play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing team by ensuring materials and components are accurately received, organized, and delivered to the production floor. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in facilitating smooth operations and high-quality product delivery. Responsibilities

  • Retrieve products from designated storage locations in the warehouse
  • Accurately read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be picked, packaged, and shipped
  • Identify items based on order specifications, ensuring the correct quantity is selected
  • Pack materials into appropriate containers per specific packing requirements
  • Ensure materials are packed effectively to avoid damage during transit
  • Prepare shipping labels, verify addresses, and complete all necessary documentation for shipments
  • Coordinate shipment processes with carriers for timely dispatch
  • Conduct visual inspections of products during picking and packing to identify any defects or discrepancies
  • Update stock levels using inventory management systems and communicate shortages or overages as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily shipping and production goals
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support team objectives and project milestones
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
  • Reliable attendance, self-motivation, and a positive attitude
