Job Title: Material Handler – Night Shift
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday (MTW), 12-hour shifts, 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM
Pay Rate: $20.75/hour
Dress Code: Steel-toed boots required
Experience: Any previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is welcome; reliability and a positive attitude are essential. Position Summary As a Material Handler on the night shift, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing team by accurately receiving, organizing, and delivering materials and components to the production floor. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values attention to detail, and takes pride in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve materials and products from designated storage locations within the warehouse
- Accurately read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be picked, packaged, and shipped
- Identify items based on order specifications, ensuring the correct quantity is selected
- Pack all materials into appropriate containers in accordance with strict packing requirements
- Ensure materials are packed safely to avoid damage in transit
- Prepare shipping labels, verify delivery addresses, and complete all required shipment documentation
- Collaborate with shipping carriers to facilitate timely dispatch of packages
- Conduct visual inspections of products during the picking and packing process to identify and report defects or discrepancies
- Use inventory management systems to update stock levels and communicate any shortages or overages
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production and shipping goals
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and project timelines
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Reliable work ethic, self-motivation, and adaptability
- Able to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
