Material Handler - Metal Processing | $19 to $23/hr DOE | Temp to Hire
Location: Carrollton, TX

Our client in the metal processing industry is looking for a dependable and physically strong Material Handler to join their team in Carrollton, TX. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role in a heavy industrial environment, focused on preparing and handling raw metal materials. The warehouse is not climate controlled, and mandatory overtime is required. You must be available to stay until work is completed each day.

Pay and Schedule

  • $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

  • Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM start time

  • Mandatory overtime, must stay until all work is completed

  • Temp to hire opportunity

What You Will Be Doing

  • Pick and stage raw metal materials for orders

  • Break down large metal bundles into customer-specific sizes

  • Manually package metal materials to meet order requirements

  • Maintain speed and accuracy throughout order preparation

  • Perform general labor and assist with other tasks as needed

Why You Would Be a Good Fit

  • At least 1 year of experience in a physical, industrial, or warehouse role

  • Experience working with metal or other heavy materials is required

  • Comfortable working in a hot or cold, non-climate-controlled environment

  • Able to consistently lift, move, and handle heavy materials throughout the shift

  • Must pass a skills-based assessment that includes reading, math, measurement, and problem-solving

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work required overtime
