Materials Lab Technician – Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $25/hr | Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking a Materials Lab Technician to support a laboratory environment within an advanced manufacturing operation in Fort Worth. This role focuses on materials testing, sample preparation, and analytical work that supports production and development activities.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in laboratory environments, materials testing, or technical manufacturing roles who enjoy hands-on work and working with specialized equipment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare and process material samples for testing and analysis

  • Operate and monitor laboratory and testing equipment

  • Record observations and document test results accurately

  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols

  • Assist with maintaining lab equipment and a clean work environment

  • Work closely with technicians and engineers to support testing and development activities

Preferred Background
  • Experience working in a laboratory, materials testing, or manufacturing environment

  • Familiarity with analytical instruments or lab equipment such as ICP, XRF, XRD, or similar tools

  • Experience with sample preparation, materials handling, or chemical processes

  • Exposure to microscopy, metallurgy, or materials analysis is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry

Schedule
  • Current schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Future shift transition expected in Q2 (tentative). As operations expand, this role may transition to a second shift schedule.

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, as the role may require availability until 10:00 PM, or may transition to 12-hour shifts that could include some weekend work, depending on operational needs.
