Mechanical Assembler Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Schedule: Full-time/12 monthsShift 4 days. 6am start
Possible conversion after 6months
Pay Rate: 19.00hr
We are seeking Assemblers who are great teammates, safety-conscious, and capable of operating complex test equipment and performing part counts. This is a hands-on role involving both large equipment and detailed assembly work using hand tools. Assemblers maintain manufacturing processes to support production safety, delivery, cost, and quality goals. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies, including fine detailed work under a microscope following assembly documentation and procedures
  • Work safely and apply 5S principles to work area
  • Use lean practices to reduce bottlenecks, eliminate waste, and shorten cycle time
  • Demonstrate attention to detail to meet/exceed quality standards
  • Work successfully in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of electrical or mechanical assembly, or equivalent industrial experience (required)
  • Must have High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Experience using common hand and electronic assembly tools safely
  • Ability to pick inventory parts to fill manufacturing and customer needs
  • Assist in packaging large instruments in shipping crates
  • Able to work in clean room environments
Preferred Skills:
  • Soldering experience
  • Familiarity with hand and electronic assembly tools
  • Previous clean room experience
