Job Summary:
As a Medical Device Engineer, you will be responsible for performing engineering analysis, design, and verification for small to medium-sized projects. You will apply your technical knowledge to address routine problems and improve existing designs or processes, contributing to the development of cutting-edge medical devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply technical competencies and knowledge to solve routine problems or enhance existing designs and processes.
- Design and coordinate research and tests to validate, analyze, and address technical issues.
- Utilize new technical tools and concepts under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Accurately document status and results with clarity and purpose.
- Seek feedback from experienced colleagues to enhance the quality of deliverables.
- Adapt to change and display strong problem-solving skills.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in problem-solving.
- Design experience with textile materials and foam specifications is an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of Design Control per 21 CFR Part 820 and Product Development is desirable but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Generally, 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience utilizing textile materials and foams in design projects.
- Familiarity with design control management systems for component release and documentation control.
