MUST HAVE TWO YEARS RECENT EXPERIENCE ON THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT:
- Sit Down Clamp
- Standup Reach
- Electric Pallet Jack
Schedules:
- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm-$19.50
- Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am-$20.50
Position Summary:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a variety of material handling equipment—including sit-down clamp, electric pallet jack and standup reach forklifts in order to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. This role requires forklift certification on at least three types of equipment, with at least half the work hours spent operating these machines. The operator also assists with order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and may support order checker or filler duties as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely stack and store merchandise in designated warehouse areas
- Unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type of product are loaded
- Efficiently perform picking duties to meet customer service standards
- Move products from staging/storage areas into outbound trailers
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and in accordance with prescribed methods
- Maintain proper inventory control and security through accurate records and reports
- Assist with physical inventory counts, stock rotation, and cycle counting
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies; assist in resolving issues
- Complete required equipment inspection forms prior to operation
- Use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory transactions
- Demonstrate Excel proficiency and general computer knowledge to support inventory tasks
- Consistently adhere to safety protocols and report concerns promptly
