Operations Manager (Healthcare Scheduling – Dementia Screening Project)

  • Location: Candidates in Metro Detroit or surrounding areas; role is flexible hybrid (can work remotely with some in-person needs at corporate or client offices)
  • Schedule: Flexible hours across time zones (supporting both East and West Coast field staff)
  • Duration: Initial 12-month project, with potential to convert to long-term based on program success
  • Compensation: $40–$45/hour (Exempt) with weekly pay, full BPO benefits package including 401(k) match

We're seeking a high-energy, organized, and people-focused Operations Manager to oversee a national dementia screening initiative supporting 75–100 field-based clinicians across the U.S. This individual will manage day-to-day operations, scheduling, and performance delivery for a critical BPO healthcare program in a growing and purpose-driven environment.

 What You'll Do

  • Oversee all operational functions of the project including scheduling, staffing, training logistics, and compliance tracking
  • Supervise and support Operations Leads, site supervisors, and field staff across multiple U.S. time zones
  • Liaise between internal teams, recruiters, field clinicians, and the client to ensure service excellence
  • Track and report KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics to meet contractual obligations
  • Manage onboarding, shift coverage, payroll issues, employee relations, travel expenses, and documentation needs
  • Ensure the program runs smoothly and on time through consistent follow-up and proactive problem-solving
  • Occasionally travel to client or Kelly locations to provide in-person support or training (~10%)

 Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience managing operations or scheduling in a healthcare or clinical setting
  • Background in staffing coordination or customer-facing operations
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or medical background is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communicator with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High-energy presence with strong customer service instincts—able to motivate and support a dispersed field team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with performance tracking, reporting metrics, and continuous improvement
