POWDER COATING OPERATORS

Our client, a globally recognized leading designer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art power distribution solutions, is RAPIDLY GROWING and expanding their team in Aurora!

This is an excellent opportunity for Powder Coat Operatorswhoare looking to advance their careers.

$20.00 - $22.00
1st Shift Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
2nd Shift Monday – Thursday 2:00 pm – 12:30 am
Weekend Shift: Fridays 2 pm – 2 am, Saturdays 10 am – 10 pm, & Sundays 9 am – 9pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate an automated powder coating equipment
  • Load and unload parts from overhead conveyer
  • Monitor parts going through the line to ensure proper processes
  • Touch up parts in the powder coating booth as necessary
  • Maintain wash/coating system tank concentrations and pH
  • Pull wastewater samples and check pH levels
  • Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of powder coating on surfaces
  • Inspect product
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Possess basic math skills for measuring and mixing coatings accurately
  • Familiar with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
  • Experience with finishing or transferrable manufacturing experience
  • Able to read assembly drawings and follow directions
  • Able to use hand tools and handle intricate parts
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for extended time periods, up to the entire eight-hour shift
  • Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
  • Must be able to reach above and forward at least 18 inches
  • Must possess hand dexterity and install small hardware
  • Must have good vision to inspect parts and assemblies
