Description

Press Brake Operator
 
Location: Aurora, OH
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 pm - 12:30 am
Pay Rate: $20-22 per hour

Kelly Services is seeking a highly motivated and skilled 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator with experience in machining (any mill or lathe) to join our team. This position entails operating and monitoring machinery to ensure products are manufactured to exact specifications while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Safely set up and operate machines and equipment
  • Monitor machines during operation for any issues or malfunctions
  • Adjust machine settings as necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance
  • Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with power tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and machinery troubleshooting skills
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours or shifts as required
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a machine operator
  • Technical or vocational training in machinery/manufacturing is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions without supervision
  • Familiarity with computerized control systems and automated machinery
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
