Description

Job Title: Injection Molding Process Engineer
Overview:
Join a dynamic team as an Injection Molding Process Engineer and play an integral role in pioneering advancements in automotive component manufacturing.

We are a TS 16949 certified manufacturer specializing in Injection Molding, Chrome Plating, and Painting for both interior and exterior automotive components. With machines ranging from 100 Tons to 5000 Tons and a diverse selection of materials—including commodity grades, custom blends, and engineered thermoplastic resins—we are well-equipped to meet a variety of molding needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support mold trials and facilitate the transition of new tooling and models into production.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to scrap, cycle time, and process variability.
  • Collaborate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in capital projects involving molding equipment and automation.
  • Assist with tooling reviews and provide design feedback using CAD and 3D modeling software.
  • Identify and implement process changes to reduce costs and improve part quality.
  • Oversee the start-up and qualification of new tools.
  • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuously pursue opportunities to optimize equipment performance and operations, as well as support the introduction of new molds, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in injection molding process development.
  • Degree in Plastics or a related field, OR RJG or Paulson certification.
