Purchasing & Data Management Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90040
Job Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire/ Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
Payrate: $23-27 an hour


About Us:
Kelly Services client is a leading electrical company committed to operational excellence and delivering top-quality electrical products and solutions. They are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Data Management Specialist to support our supply chain and procurement functions by maintaining accurate product and pricing data and coordinating cross-departmental communications.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Input, maintain, and update product and pricing information across multiple systems ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Coordinate communications with various departments on new product releases and engineering change notices to ensure updates to processes, systems, and files.
  • Process purchase orders, revisions, and generate vendor scorecards to monitor supplier performance.
  • Audit databases, product catalogs, packaging, and websites to ensure integrity of data, text, and pricing.
  • Manage and remove obsolete products and options from the system.
  • Provide administrative support to the supply chain and purchasing teams.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to product and pricing processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Experience entering vendor purchase orders into ERP software.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate by phone and email.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in supply chain or purchasing roles within the electrical or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with vendor scorecard generation and analysis.
