Job Title: Production Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Shift schedules may include weekends based on business needs)
Transportation Requirement: Reliable transportation is essential.
Safety Equipment: Steel-toed shoes are required. Composite safety shoe covers may be provided if needed.

- Will you wear the required PPE, including a white lab jacket, protective glasses, helmet, and shoe covers?
- Can you lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when moving boxes?
- Are you comfortable transferring carts (2 and 4 pounds) in and out of chillers and flipping trays as needed?
- Will you perform additional duties as assigned, including transfers to the kitchen area?
- Is being bilingual in Spanish a plus for you?
- Do you have prior experience in the food industry?
Job Summary:
As a Production Associate, you will take direction from supervisory staff to meet production demands while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work independently, accurately, and effectively with limited supervision.
- Manage the transfer of products from fillers to chillers.
- Report any discrepancies in product information to supervisors or leads.
- Organize and place carts of production in WIP areas.
- Ensure correct product alignment in the Garvey table area and flip trays in chillers as required.
- Rework products that do not meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following the “5S” principles.
- Promote a safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices while complying with food and personal safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other assigned duties, inclusive of work in the kitchen area.
Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities):
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow both verbal and written instructions, with basic mathematical skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- Frequent physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work in noisy environments.
- Capacity to work across varying temperature zones for extended periods, including cold and/or hot environments where dust may be present.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
