Location: 175 Industrial Drive, Northampton, MA 01060
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift Differential:

• 2nd Shift: +$1.50/hour

• 3rd Shift: +$2.00/hour
  Schedule Options: 2nd or 3rd Shift

• 3rd Shift Hours: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Summary:
Saint-Gobain in Northampton, MA is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Operators to support the manufacturing of high-performance rod products. Operators will manage production processes from raw materials through final quality control, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

? Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe work practices and promote safety culture

• Operate machinery across mixing, extrusion, drying, cutting, and firing stages

• Execute product changeovers and machine cleanouts

• Monitor quality and adjust parameters to meet final specifications

• Log production and quality control data accurately

• Operate forklifts and work on elevated platforms

• Pack and label finished goods

• Assist in loading/unloading materials and maintaining inventory

• Support other departments when needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

• Prior manufacturing experience (preferred)

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted

• Comfortable with standing, bending, pushing, and reaching

• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and follow production schedules
