Shift: 3rd Shift (Training will be on 1st shift)
Pay: $26.00/hr

About the Role:
The Production Operator III – Anodizing OpTech III is an essential role in a high-paced manufacturing environment, offering opportunities for those eager to advance their skills in production operations. This position involves ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, meeting production schedules, and maintaining product quality. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team dedicated to high standards of production and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate molding machines and perform quality checks as required.

Measure, examine, and test assembly units to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.

Adjust machines or fixtures as necessary to maintain production quality.

Document mold changes, machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.

Install and remove molds or mold tools, and maintain them through a detailed preventive maintenance program.

Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and operational procedures.

Work with production teams to meet production schedules and ensure molded components meet quality requirements.

Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibility.

Collaborate with quality and manufacturing departments to maintain production standards.

Coordinate mold repairs with the mold shop as necessary.

Set up and manage molds, robots, hot manifold controllers, grinders, and regrind controls.

Enter process sheets and conduct first-piece inspections.

Perform advanced mold/press maintenance and address core and cavity-related issues.

Troubleshoot machine issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Maintain cycle times and possess advanced troubleshooting capabilities, especially when feedback from equipment is limited.

Program and troubleshoot robots.

Collaborate with the tool room and engineering to resolve mold and process issues.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:

Basic shop math and computer skills.
-
Basic machine troubleshooting skills and ability to solve mechanical issues.

Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to analyze, interpret, and report data based on machine performance.

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
-
Willingness to assist cross-functional teams as needed.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with machine troubleshooting and mold/press maintenance.

Ability to prioritize work effectively.

Good oral and written communication skills.
