Overview:
The Production Assistant operates bindery and printing equipment, manages production workflows, performs large format printing, handles materials and outbound shipping, and ensures quality control in a fast-paced digital print environment. This role supports customer satisfaction through accurate and timely execution of print orders and operational tasks.

Operate Bindery & Print Equipment
Run automated and manual finishing equipment to produce high-quality print jobs based on job tickets, with an emphasis on large format printing and shipping. -
Workflow Scanning & Order Management
Scan jobs into the order management system (OD Net) to track production progress, completion, and productivity data. -
Quality Control
Inspect all output for quality and compliance with production standards and customer requirements. -
Organization & Maintenance

Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization (5S compliance).

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs; report major issues.
Support & Miscellaneous Tasks
Assist with loading paper, removing finished jobs, cleaning up materials, and supporting Production Specialists.
Follow direction from Leads and Managers; complete other duties as assigned.
Duration: 10 days (Mon–Fri, 2 PM – 10 PM).
Evaluation Criteria: Skillset, behavior, attitude, ability to follow instructions, and attendance.
Attendance Policy: Max 0.5 points allowed during this period.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Shifts Available:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay Rate: $17.50–$18.50/hour depending on experience.
1–3 years of print/reprographics experience (preferred but not required).
Basic PC and Microsoft Office/Google Apps skills.
Ability to multitask, follow detailed instructions, and work well in a team.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
