Project Coordinator / Plant Administrative Assistant - Manufacturing
Location: Bartlett, IL – 100% onsite
Duration: 5 to 9 months (potentially longer)
Pay Rate: $36 - $42/hr
Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM Monday - Friday
Reports To: Senior Project & Production Manager
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Plant Administrative Assistant to join our team! This is a new role, and the ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and eager to contribute in both administrative and physical aspects of the job. You will be supporting our Senior Project & Production Manager and be involved in a variety of tasks across the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase requisitions and orders for office and production supplies
  • Organize and schedule third-party vendor work and services
  • Prepare reports, including PowerPoint slide updates
  • Maintain key organizational functions (e.g., lock replacement)
  • Create documents such as shop floor slides and assist with laminating tasks
  • Develop machine and building maintenance schedules
  • Assist with physical reorganizing or moving parts and materials within the shop
  • Prepare and coordinate meetings, including weekly, monthly, and Manager's Production Updates
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (SharePoint knowledge a plus)
  • Previous experience in an administrative function within a manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks, from administrative duties (e.g., creating presentations) to physical tasks (e.g., reorganizing parts and materials)
  • Experience with purchase requisitions and creating shop schedules (preferably maintenance schedules)
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in controlling, accounting, OPEX, CAPEX, or risk management is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:
  • This is a long-term temporary role with the potential to extend beyond 9 months.
  • The position involves a combination of administrative and light physical work within the plant.
