Description

Job Title: Project Manager - Payroll Kelly Services is recruiting a strong Project Manager on behalf of one of our client companies for a crucial multi-year payroll project. This critical role will lead the implementation of payroll solutions across the LATAM region, ensuring a seamless transition to a new vendor provider. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of new payroll solutions for all Latin American countries.
  • Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams involving HR Operations, Technology, Compensation & Benefits, Treasury, and Accounting teams.
  • Guide and direct Payroll Country Operations SMEs during implementation.
  • Oversee all project phases: design, configuration, testing, cutover, and hyper-care.
  • Coordinate with technology teams to develop integration solutions between Workday and vendor systems.
  • Operate under the Project Management Office and established governance structures.
  • Partner with vendors' implementation and account teams to drive joint success.
  • Manage change by engaging key stakeholders, including Country HR, Regional HR, and Finance Directors.
  • Manage timelines and budgets to achieve project milestones.
  • Report and manage the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Utilize project management tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
  • 5+ years of operational experience managing projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex projects; experience with payroll implementation projects preferred.
  • Strong leadership qualities with proven experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with payroll providers is an advantage.
