Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking an QA Internal Compliance Auditor near Eau Claire, WI.

Monday - Friday 7am- 3pm 
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 DOE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst Systems & Compliance professional to join our team as an Internal Compliance Auditor. This pivotal role involves executing comprehensive internal audits of quality, food safety, operations, and maintenance systems at our manufacturing facility. The audits will encompass frameworks such as ISO22000, ISO22002, FSSC, 21CFR106, 21CFR107, 21CFR117, customer specifications (e.g., Halal, Kosher, Non-GMO), regulatory requirements, and global procedures. Additionally, the role includes managing the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system, along with overseeing the mock recall and traceability programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning & Execution: Strategically devise audit plans, efficiently allocate resources, represent audit teams in communications with process owners, organize and lead the audit team.
  • Training & Development: Develop and maintain training materials for the CAPA system and mock recall program. Provide training and coaching to ensure team proficiency in system procedures.
  • Corrective & Preventive Action Management: Evaluate CAPA incidents, assist in the determination of responsible action owners, recommend courses of action, and verify the effectiveness of completed actions.
  • Trend Analysis: Identify and communicate non-conformance trends with process owners and quality teams.
  • Audit Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external resources to facilitate audit schedules.
  • Summary & Reporting: Compile and present audit findings to process owners and management.
  • External Audit Representation: Act as a representative during external audits of management systems.
  • Mock Recall & Traceability Coordination: Manage the mock recall/traceability program and train key personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of quality experience in a regulated company, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, especially within the food manufacturing sector (exposure to 21 CFR 117, lean manufacturing, FSSC22000/SQF, 21 CFR 106/107, and 21 CFR 113 preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced communication skills, adept in technical writing and cross-functional collaboration. Skilled in public speaking and training. Proficient in decision-making and maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and SAP is preferred.
  • Professional Skills: Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality improvement, capable of prioritizing workload amidst dynamic business needs.
